Ando Therapeutics

Rejuvenated T cells for off-the-shelf therapy

A renewable iPSC platform that preserves antigen specificity and supports repeatable production

Ando Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing off-the-shelf T cell therapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases.

Founded by Professors Hiro Nakauchi and Miki Ando, the company builds on pioneering research in stem cell biology and T cell rejuvenation to make cell therapies more effective, durable, and accessible.

Our technology

Our platform uses induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to generate rejuvenated T cells, or “rejTs.” By reprogramming antigen-specific T cells into iPSCs and differentiating them back into T cells, we restore their capacity to expand while preserving their ability to recognize disease-related targets.

We combine this approach with genetic engineering to enhance target recognition and reduce immune rejection. A renewable iPSC source supports consistent, scalable manufacturing, with the goal of providing ready-to-use therapies for many patients.
